This manufacturer of wire store fixtures and displays had an unusual application for a pallet stretch wrapper. Their products are light weight steel frames that are larger than conventional pallet size when stacked for shipping. The light weight of the products required a slow spin speed and a very loose wrap tension to avoid pulling the product out of alignment while being wrapped. The large oversize pallets required a turntable larger than any standard unit. Both problems were solved with the Fox 7 Rotary Arm Pallet Wrapper combined with the Fox Dynamic Pre-Stretch Film Delivery System. The Pre-stretch Systems stretches the film 200% to 300% before it is applied to the pallet, allowing a loose wrap that tightens itself as the film tries to return to its original state. The Rotary Arm mechanism allows the pallets to be placed directly on the floor, eliminating the need for a turntable to rotate the pallet. Photo eye sensors can stop the arm instantly for operator safety.
